Using the app

You may use ACW Contractions to record and share care information for lawful personal purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, securing your device and credentials, and choosing trusted Journey members.

Journey permissions

A Journey owner controls membership and permissions. Viewers can review permitted data. Editors can add or edit supported entries but cannot create contractions, delete records, manage people, or change ownership. Owners can manage permissions, invitations, exports, deletions, and ownership. Features may evolve while preserving these core safety boundaries.

Optional Android donations

The Android app may offer an optional PayPal donation link to support ACW Contractions development. A donation does not unlock features, change permissions, remove limitations, or provide any digital content or service. Donations are processed by PayPal under PayPal’s terms and privacy practices.

Subscriptions and purchases

Local tracking features remain available without a Journey subscription. Journey is currently included at no additional charge in the Android app. On iOS, Journey backup, synchronization, and collaboration require the subscription shown in the app and App Store. iOS subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the Apple App Store account. Prices, taxes, trial terms, renewal timing, refunds, and store eligibility are controlled by the store and shown before purchase. Deleting a Journey or cloud account does not cancel a store subscription.

Your content and invited people

You retain responsibility for the care information you enter. You grant the service permission to host, process, transmit, and display cloud data only as needed to operate features you request. Do not enter or share information you do not have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse invitations, attempt to access another Journey without permission, interfere with the service, reverse engineer security controls where prohibited by law, upload unlawful material, or use the app to harass or harm another person.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ACW Contractions reliable and accessible, but cloud, store, network, and notification services can be delayed or unavailable. Do not rely on the app as the only copy of critical information or for time-critical medical decisions. We may fix, improve, add, or retire features and will provide notice when a material change reasonably requires it.

Termination and deletion

You may stop using the app at any time. Owners can delete shared Journey data, members can leave, and users can delete their cloud account in the app. Local data remains on the device unless separately removed. We may restrict abusive or unlawful use where permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, ACW Contractions is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the app.
